      Hi Ian,

We will need policy information to submit a claim. Your bank or lender should be able to provide you with these details if you request them. You can also use http://www.experian.co.uk to track down details of accounts, loans and credit cards.

Hi (not Ian above) I’ve also been trying to find my details
I have/do know an account number not sure on date of loan –
I think mid to late 2002 so its approaching ten years.
They said I had to have it and was it useless when i lost my job i couldn’t claim
destroying my credit score to boot
will this be enough to make a claim.

      Hi Ian,

Making a customer take out PPI as a condition of the loan is definitely misselling. If you are having trouble locating information about the loan – try going to https://www.creditexpert.co.uk/ and opening a free 30day trial account. fill in the site details and it will tell you about who you had your loan with and account numbers etc. This should be enough to get you started and good luck!
