Credit Card Payment Protection Insurance was originally brought in to protect customers in cases where you lose your job, have an accident or became too ill to work.  If you fall in to one of the following categories you are not protected:

  • Self employed
  • Retired or unemployed
  • Student
  • Civil Servant or member of the armed forces
  • Ill when you took out your protection
