Was PPI added to your Loan?

Adding PPI to your loan without your knowledge or consent is mis-selling, you should have been fully aware that you were buying a Payment Protection Insurance policy when getting your loan or finance. PPI products can cost thousands and the interest on top makes them even more expensive!

If you weren't fully aware that Payment Protection Insurance was added to your loan or credit card then you've definitely been mis-sold PPI and you can claim back £1000's in compensation. If you didn't ask for PPI and it has been added in then you have every right to claim your money back.

Not sure if it's been added?

When bank advisors sold PPI, they received a huge commision per sale because PPI makes the banks a lot of money and this is the reason why some advisors chose to break the rules and add this insurance to loans without telling the customer. Thankfully it's really easy to find out if you have PPI - simply look through any paperwork you still have from the time you took out the loan and PPI should be displayed on the paperwork.

Even though they may not have told you that you were being sold the PPI, the payment protection insurance is an extra of the loan and legally must be displayed on the paperwork.

What Next?

If you believe that Payment Protection Insurance was added on to your loan or finance without your knowledge, or the product wasn't fully explained to you. You stand a strong chance of claiming all of the PPI premiums you have paid to date, with the interest on top of those payments and in some cases we can even get an extra 8% interest on top.
