SUCCESS STORY – I didn’t feel confident enough to do it myself

When secretary Linda Mitchell was chatting to one of her friends about claiming back PPI she admitted she didn’t understand half the question on the form – so her friend recommended she contact Gladstone Brookes for help.

“I didn’t have a lot of information and I didn’t feel confident enough to do it myself,” she said.

Mis-sold

“I actually worked for Lloyds for 10 years from 1974 to 1984, but that was before all this PPI thing started up.  I wasn’t sure whether I had been mis-sold, but I couldn’t remember anyone discussing with me when I took out the loans and the credit card,” she added.

After talking to a Gladstone Brookes advisor, Linda made a number of claims, some of which are still awaiting a result, but she received back a total of £2,528.72± for PPI which had been mis-sold on two Lloyds loans and a credit card.

Service

She was full of praise for the service she received, saying: “Right from the first phone call they were excellent.  I was worried about the type of questions I would be asked, but the person I spoke to guided me through it in a really helpful way.

“I had no idea how much money I would get back.  I expected only half of much as I did receive, if anything.  I can’t fault the service in any way and I have already recommended  it to some of my friends,” she added.
