Renewing our patronage of the Warrington Wolves Foundation for the eighth year in a row, Gladstone Brookes is pleased to continue our special relationship which has proved so successful over the years.
Said Stu Farley: “Many children throughout Warrington have benefitted from our partnership, not just in their school environment but in external activities also.
We’re pleased to renew our commitment and look forward to what we can achieve in the future.”
Foundation Partnerships Manager Shaun Briscoe said: “The partnership between the Foundation and GB has been running for many years and is invaluable to the Foundation.
GB have supported us in many ways, both financially and with volunteers, and enabled us to develop our disability programme to reach more members of the community each year.
“Members of the GB staff are released from their day to day roles to support our delivery in high schools enabling us to work with more schools but also give the GB staff the opportunity to develop themselves in a different environment that they are used to.”
Paralympic style events
Staff have been involved in special programs within local schools for children with special needs and have also helped organise major tournament type events where children from a number of schools compete in Paralympic style events.
Volunteers also provided support for Foundation staff at summer sport camps and arts and crafts activities during school holidays.
GB general manager Leon Moye commented: “The continuing success of this project is a source of great pride to our company.
We believe in giving back to the community in which we live and work and it has developed into a great relationship over the years
“Our staff thoroughly enjoy getting involved and it’s obvious that the children love the events.”
